The New Roxbury Land Trust, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization created to:

• Preserve and enhance the rural character of the northeastern Connecticut towns of Woodstock, Eastford, Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson and Union.
• Protect open space from industrial, residential or commercial development.
• Promote the use of our acquired land for forestland, agriculture, wildlife habitats, greenbelts and other similar uses.
• Hold development rights, including conservation easements and rights of way, of land in private ownership.
